Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Eddie S — 17 Jun 2014
Gotta love it. Murray and Jeff Wright set up the Johnston character's avoidance of emotion. You'd think he is simply "flat." He has gotten there with a lot of work. "Look for clues. Like a typewriter. Like something pink." One can do worse where life is not all that available.
Naked Lolita gets it Five Stars. The little life-force intrusions come in like violins in Mozart. And Murray does regret like nobody else.
