Review of Broken Flowers (2005) by Marko S — 05 Mar 2010
A great jim jarmush movie. first of all, jarmush is a man who made a comeback for the typical american road movie. now we have a strange mix of a drama about aging, road movie, and noir-esque mystery. the main character is bill murray, washed-up and aging loverboy, and his life is just a series of memories.
this old don juan finds that he has a son, but with which of her ex girlfriends, so he hits the road, trying to find a new meaning of his life. this is a jim jarmush movie mated with a pinch of wenders' paris, texas.
watchable and warm. nicely combined with harry and tonto (1974).
