Review of Broken English: Three Songs by Marianne Faithfull (1979) by Melissa K — 24 Dec 2007
It was alright. It's just a mix of all the movies(good ones though) that portray 30-something-year-olds who are tired of dating assholes and are desperate to find that one man to love. The story is predictable and the last line is pretty much jacked straight from "Before Sunset".
Nothing too original. But you keep watching just to keep dreaming about falling in love with a passionate French guy. Besides, Parker Posey's really good. The new Superman wouldn't have been the same without her.
