Review of Broken English: Three Songs by Marianne Faithfull (1979) by Kelley C — 12 May 2009
This movie takes "chick flicks" to a whole new and clever level. it's got none of the stereotypical characters nor the cheesie gimmicks, but just enough of the right punches that appeals to me.
the film is a good depiction of dating--both the hope and the despair people go through when trying to find love. it also explores a good range of emotions and expectations of single women in their 30s.
definitely enjoyed this movie.
