Review of Broken Embraces (2009) by Steve G — 06 Jan 2010
Something has changed with Almodovar's films. It started with Volver, and now, Broken Embraces. I enjoyed the film. The acting was great and it was visually appealing. The story was good. My only complaint is that it didn't flow smoothly as in his previous work.
The ending felt incomplete to me. I'll give it another shot when it comes out on DVD.
