Overall, I am not a huge fan of Almodovar. I have probably seen like 7 of his films now and it may be simple because I am not incredibly in touch with my feminine side. I admit he does appear to know woman incredibly well.
I actually think this is one of my favorite films by him because its more multi-versed and personally interesting to me. The production design is gorgeous (typical) but I really think this is one of his most beautifully shot films too.
It may be a little long but the performances are all solid. I was surprised how much I liked it.
