Review of Broken Blossoms or The Yellow Man and the Girl (1919) by Donovan R — 28 Nov 2007
I read the DW Griffith made this film because of the strong critism he recieved from Birth of a Nation peolpe claiming he was a racist. But I guess he proved them all wrong with the naming of the Chink and all adult china men smoking Opium.
However it was fun to watch with my group of silent movie buffs.
