Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Rhiannon P — 28 Feb 2012
WHOA. There's some damn great acting in this film; Ledger and Gyllenhaal were extermely ambitious and their relationship is without a doubt believable. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them getting it on.
The movie was kinda slow paced, but I was never deathly bored. I couldn't stop myself from laughing hysterically though when his wife catches them making out, haha, I was so shocked. (SPOILER ALERT) And I was totally surprised by the ending too when one of them died; that came out of nowhere, and I could feel the heartache that Ledger displayed on screen.
Overall, this movie definitely grew on me instantly, one of my instant favorites.
