Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Guido S — 08 Sep 2013

Finally got around to watching this. Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger play ranch hands in the 60s who become friends at work as sheep herder and their job eventually brings them together romatically. Eventually, they are no longer needed and they separate and go about their lives.

Both eventually marrying, however, they reunite and they still have feelings for each other. Ang Lee did an amazing job directing, the movie just has a hard time holding one's attention as it is long and there are some extended sequences where not much happens.

Still a good film, just a bit long winded.
