Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Matthew I — 24 Feb 2014
A heart-warming, dramatic, intense masterpiece from Ang Lee, by far his best film. Sad that this movie did not win Best Picture because it totally deserved it. Heath Ledger and Jack Gyllenhaal performances as bisexual men in this film were jawdropping and memorable.
Also, some great work here from Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams as the wives. Just an lovely piece of film making.
