Review of Brokeback Mountain (2005) by Gary W — 01 Jun 2012

I would have given 2 stars if it hadn't have been for the last 20 minutes or so, which were more moving than the rest of the film put together. I was so disappointed in this film. I'd been told by so many people how brilliant it was.

There was no chemistry whatsoever between the chaps and it flicked through their lives, focusing on one or two events, giving no insight into anyone's true character, making it feel that the story was spread far too thinly.

The final scenes though were brilliant.
