Review of Broadcast News (1987) by Trevor H — 17 Oct 2009

It's a romantic comedy that invariably involves a love triangle. in all honesty I don't like any of the lead actors in this film and the characters they play are equally annoying. but somehow it worked at some level.

I suppose i'd attribute that to some good dialogue and - to their credit - the actors' comedic timing. unfortunately they went one scene too far in this movie- the penultimate scene should have been ending.

after it they fast forward 7 years and that's the ending I didn't care for; it made everything too neat.
