Review of Broadcast News (1987) by Richard G — 28 May 2011

Just watched this for the first time since it was in theaters and was startled at how prescient it is...tho it's difficult to be wrong if you're cynical about the news business. Great performances all around, and brave and smart to have the guy you're supposed to be rooting for be so bitter and unpleasant, while the one who represents what's wrong with broadcast news is such a decent person.

Worth seeing again if you haven't watched it lately.
