Review of Broadcast News (1987) by Will E — 21 Mar 2011
Bill Conti's schmaltzy, dated score makes this once-relevant movie about TV news well-nigh unwatchable. Smug, braying, clueless white people don't help it either. If the most likable character in your movie is played by Robert "shut your piehole" Prosky, you got a problem.
