Review of Broadcast News (1987) by Gina M — 19 Sep 2011

I certainly liked this film over James L. Brooks' Oscar winning "Terms of Endearment". And yet, he seems to have a knack at the more realistic, or at least non-traditional romantic comedy.

You just have to laugh at the awkward moments, knowing that you'd probably do the same thing in their situation. Best of all, is the ending, which does not follow movie formulas at all. Where's the fun in being formulaic? Nowhere, that's where.
