Review of Bringing Up Baby (1938) by Adrian B — 26 Dec 2010
I think I have a problem. I just can't get into comedies from this era. I was not a fan of this film. It was funny in bits and the chemistry between Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant is quite fun, but I just did not enjoy it all that much.
I think the best comedies that were before 1950 were The Lady Eve, It Happened One Night, and Duck Soup.
