Review of Bringing Out the Dead (1999) by Tom L — 06 Feb 2008
Scorsese, even when he makes a decent movie, is better than most. This is a pretty good look at the life of a man who lives in the New York night life. I don't particularly like Cage, but there are times when he shows he can act.
THis is one of them. The movie is not that great. Some scenes are a little boring but it does well enough. Kudos however to the cinematographer. A beautifully shot movie. A good flick, not Scorsese best but still better than most.
