Review of Bringing Out the Dead (1999) by Alan D — 26 Feb 2009
New York side streets, all shot at night, a paranormal twist! Bringing out the dead seems like my perfect movie. Unfortunately it suffers from pacing issues, and Nicholas cage giving his usual dead-pan performance.
Its got a good soundtrack and ving raims steels the show for me personally. It still isn't enough too save it from scorsese's average pile. Ah well.
