Review of Bringing Out the Dead (1999) by Jacob W — 18 Sep 2007
BOTD is treated like the redheaded stepchild of Martin Scorsese. Why, I'm not sure... personally I found it to be artistic, gritty, interesting and (as with all great Scorsese films) a commentary on humanity.
Everything from the Van Morrison song running through the background, to the cast of quirky and memorable characters made the film shine.
