Review of Bringing Out the Dead (1999) by Todd W — 05 Mar 2008
One of Scorsese's most underrated films, Bringing Out The Dead has the same surreal, kinetic style present in After Hours, although this film is much more sombre. Cage is excellent as is the supporting cast, and the script feels like a more poetic, less violent version of Taxi Driver.
