Review of Bringing Out the Dead (1999) by Bo B — 30 Jan 2009
Every thing I've read in regards to Bringing Out The Dead has mentioned it as an "overlooked gem" by Scorsese. I used to dislike Scorsese but over time I've come to appreciate his work so when I had the opportunity to watch this I jumped at it.
It's an interesting piece with a brilliant story and direction but it never quite lives up to its potential in my opinion. At times it just falls flat.
