Review of Bring It On (2000) by Camille A — 26 Nov 2009
I suppose it is kinda fun...Mostly mindnumbing and vomitous, but it (like most lame chickflicks) does have it's moments...
Its about cheerleaders, some are boys and some are girls, some are slutty, some are batshit crazy...
There are amazing athletic displays (thats what I was told at least), there are catfights, there are love triangles (I may be wrong, but I believe Eliza Dushku is a lesbian who is in love with Kirsten Dunst, who is in fact in a relationship with a male cheerleader (who, I wasn't to sure about this bit, but I think he was gay?), but who falls for Eliza's brother, who is played by a wimpy irrit, but who is meant to be all hardcore punk - VERY miscast...).
Rent it for your 12 year old sister (or 12 year old "confused" brother)...
