Review of Brigsby Bear (2017) by Jesus C — 07 Nov 2017
When I heard about one of Sundance's biggest hits this year, Brigsby Bear, I really wanted to like it but then I actually watched it and it was bad. But that doesn't mean I hate it.
There are some moments in the film that I actually enjoyed seeing such as the Brigsby Bear show, and the making of their movie. What made me enjoy these moments was the style of this show. I wish this film focused more on the Brigsby show instead of a half-assed family drama.
There are so many flaws within the writing. Half of the time the logic behind the story and characters doesn't make sense when you think about it. The cast and was just okay. There wasn't anything special about the acting.
Maybe if Brigsby Bear was a short film, it could've worked.
