Review of Bright (2017) by Dominic G — 15 Jan 2018
This was a great movie. The reason for my five star-rating comes from three primary things:
1) it utilizes fantasy themes in a modern setting to shed light on social issues in the United States. This is both unique, interesting and brilliantly implemented.
2)The action was really well-done. Tons of explosions and drama. It used a new approach on classic action themes without totally reinventing the wheel.
3) There's a fucking dragon. It leaves a lot up to the imagination and I would love to see the existence of dragons elaborated on.
