Review of Bright (2017) by Alejandro R — 26 Jan 2018
Not sure why all the hate from the critics. This movie wasn't Training Day nor likely to win any awards for originality, but it delivers two solidly entertaining hours. The fantasy elements set in the contemporary world keeps things just fresh enough, and the social commentary, even if shallow, is still pretty relevant to our current times.
