I signed up just to review this because once again the critics are way off.. but as soon as you search this film in a search engine you see that 28% score and not the 87% audience score that should have been visible.

This film was fine, but it didn't really set the scene for me and I put that down to the 2 hours it had to convey what could be, in the minds of the writers, a very deep and detailed story of a modern world with elves, orcs and magic. Perhaps it is trying to be a modern day lord of the rings.. but the lord of the rings story and the entire world was detailed in books, had a massive following and was drawn out over multiple films. That is my opinion anyway, it was a fine 2 hour watch if you like fantasy films. I hope if they do make more, they give us more stories, more detail and more background to the characters or races though.
