This is a very good movie. The racial minority hero aspect is not going to stomach well with a lot of people, in the real world, who considers themselves to be the majority race. No doubt the critics who are downgrading this movie felt somewhat offended by story semblance this 'fantasy movie' reflects the everyday lives of a minority that lives in a place where they are overtly discriminated against.
