Review of Bright (2017) by Nerdlife — 24 Dec 2017
A flawed movie but a very fun one. The movie never lies about it's intentions: It's a gritty take on a modern fantasy setting. You have orcs, elves, fairies, dragons, centaurs.. All cramped in modern day Los Angeles.
At it's core Bright is the simplest concept of cop movie: The cop and the new partner that he doesn't want. But there is so much more. The movie shines because it's worldbuilding is so good. And I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.
