Bright is a great film and it may be Will Smith's best films in years. Critics hated this film with a vengeance (not really sure why though), yet I found Bright to be a great hybrid of your usual police procedural / buddy action flick, with a 'fantasy' film.
It's well acted, has some tense sequences and gritty to boot. Maybe the critics hated this film because it is exclusively on Netflix? Nevertheless, don't let that sway you away from this flick. One of the year's best surprise.
