Review of Bright (2017) by Kim C — 11 Jan 2018
I just seen this and it wasn't as bad as it was, I going to be honest just really surprised it has so low reviews on this movie. It's like bad boys meets lord of the rings but 2000 years later also is reference in the movie , The cinematography was great the action scenes was good but lets start of with a bit of story shall we. Well at the beginning of the film we see Will Smith aka ( Daryl Ward) being a cop and his partner is a Org called Nick Jakoby aka ( Joel Anupama) and everyone there in a middle of a street where Jakoby is buying him a burrito for his lunch break then a rouge Org comes out the shop and shoots Daryl on the middle of afternoon. I going to stop here because I want to see it this movie because hits a nerve on race and how us humans cannot get along with other people or other races and it's shown though out the movie all the way.
What I love about the film it shouts in your face about how us humans can't live with anything that is different towards us and it proves that even if there were Elves, Orgs and Humans we cannot get along and society shows it in this film where the elves and rich and the humans are middle class and the Orgs are the lowest class.
This film is very diverse with many races in this film and I think it was really good to see that all humans have different views on people and beings very interesting. I love the fact it was like this Lord of the rings but 2000 years later and how it makes us feel about what would it be like if they put in the future of the day and age we live in today and this was a perfect way to show this film.
All I got to say the movie is this movie excellent with action and shooting scenes are great nothing wrong but good movie all I got to say.
