Just watched this last night. Loved it. It's brilliant. Why has no one come up with an idea like this before? Its not incredibly far-reaching as fantasy + modern day goes, but it it was put together very naturally.
Sure, it was a buddy-cop movie, but the social commentary and insertion of fantasy to real-world history was clever and intelligent. They should make more movies of this. They could expand the universe and show perspectives from others in the same alternate universe.
They should do a TV series. I'd watch everything.
