Review of Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (2009) by Jessi P — 11 Nov 2010
I don't understand what all the hate was towards this movie... I thought krasinski actually has a really new, and unique film style that uses REALLY thoughtful juxtapositions with contrapuntal soundtracks.
The disjunct flow made me kinda irritated at the start, but once I settled in, I thought it was brilliant. The scene cuts while remaining within the same monologue were brilliantly executed. there were three monologues I actually dropped my jaw and said "wow" at: the bathroom attendant's son being interviewed, john krasinski's monologue, and daniels.
REALLY WORTH SEEING (not with a group of people, just sit down by yourself and watch).
