Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Jezzy A — 19 Jun 2007
Tragic and beautiful film about a love affair between two married people. They meet and they fall in love but because of their family ties they are unable to fully give in to their desires. Film is beautifully shot in black and white, the scenes in the train station feel very noir-ish but extremely fitting.
Celia Johnson did not do many films but she will live forever as Laura Jesson.
