Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Nathan N — 03 Jan 2009
Love films can be great, and when they are, nothing seems to come close to this genre. Among such wonders as "Lost In Translation", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Before Sunset/Sunrise" and "The Warrior and the Princess" we find "Brief Encounter", an unrighteously overlooked masterpiece.
The mood it set between steam trains and the darkness surrounding them, and it is all likely never to be forgotten.
