Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Gareth D — 16 Sep 2016
What a magnificent film. I dreaded it would be a dreary, conservative, dated affair. But it was incredibly fresh, relevant and modern. So accurate and perceptive it brought back memories of being in love.
Another great addition to my collection. Astoundingly, the two leads were relative unknowns at the time.
