Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Ryan M — 10 Jan 2010
Not even the nice photography, solid direction or the lovely music can save the cardboard characters or arguably the worst voice-over narration I've ever heard. Frankly it's too short for any of the actors to extend their characters past stereotype and it is far too small in its scope compared to other stories of unrequited love ("Age Of Innocence" & "In The Mood For Love" come to mind).
