Review of Bridge to Terabithia (1985) by Lissi F — 05 Dec 2007
A hard one to remember at this stage of my life, I remember that it wasn't as heart-breaking as the novel - read this book! - and took a few liberties that challenged the illusion, perhaps due to a small budget.
I do recall, though, that it was at least decent fare for its target audience, and it can't help but tell a good story, even if it is a PBS movie. The new Disney-fication frightens me, though... I may just stick with the ghost of this one in my memory instead of (shudder) upgrading.
