Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Francis M — 20 Feb 2016
The man in question has an amazing life story, perhaps a proper documentary can do a better job. Hank shines, as does Rylance who is exceptional in such a small role, but as expected, Spielberg goes off on his own patriotic sell involved story, where once again anyone German is shown as immoral or evil.
As a director he once again is not capable to make a film giving the audience time to think for themselves.
