Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Yang H — 26 Sep 2016
Bridge of Spies deals with some heavy subjects, such as the prospect of nuclear war, discrimination, torture, the Berlin Wall, and so on. As a result the film stays tense throughout. It is also very important that the film did not commit to the cliche of presenting the US as the good and the USSR as the bad, in fact in more than one occasion the US is the one with questionable moral, not the other way around.
