A feel good movie for people sympathetic to the American way (or values).
Straightforward, unchallenging, predictable.
I don't know how the best supporting actor award was won by an actor whose only direction seems to be look bemused or look surprised like a deer caught by headlights.
What's more interesting is that this is a Coen brothers script, but directed by Spielberg. I wonder what this film would have been like if it was directed by the Coens instead?
