Review of Bride Wars (2009) by Christine C — 08 Apr 2013
The script was insulting, it depicted ugly stereotypes about women and made them even more horrible on screen. It's such a shame that two very talented actresses had to be a part of a film as such.
I don't know anymore which is more disheartening: the story plot of Bride Wars or the fact that there were actually people who thought that this film can be of good purpose. The cinematography was nothing to be proud of and overall, it doesn't leave any impression.
.. good impression. After you watch it, you will forget all the scenes, all you're going to remember is the constant dragging and fighting of the brides. But even though there are tons of down sides to this film, there are also good points.
Even though the script wasn't powerful, it was sort of believable. There are really bride wannabes who are just really greedy in nature that they don't care anymore about their fiance, as long as they experience the perfect wedding.
Another, it was entertaining to watch. It was not good, but it was entertaining. Watch it if you ran out films to watch.
