Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Sandra C — 02 Nov 2008
1935's The Bride of Frankenstein is listed amongst the classics of Hollywood for good reason. The portrayal of the monster by Boris Karloff was astonishing enough to have earned him a place as one of the best known names in cinematic history; the story, based on Mary Shelley's classic morality tale, was poignant enough to warrant retelling still today; the special effects that are impressive even today were near miraculous then.
If you consider yourself a true fan of the motion picture artform then The Bride of Frankenstein should be on your must-watch list.
