Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Reid L — 11 Feb 2009
For a film made in the 30s, this must have been quite amusing and unbelievably scary. For today's standard, this was just super cheesey. Having not seen the prequel and knowing the plot thanks to a lecture on Frankenstein adaptation, I was grateful for its short length.
The set design was wonderful and the execution was great... the characters and dialogues were kind of awful though. Just got to keep the time period in mind!
