Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Alex F — 24 Mar 2009
I saw Frankenstein about 15 yearas ago and I never forgot it. In fact, that movie is one of the reasons why I love silent and black and white movies. Finally, I got to see the famous sequel: The Bride of Frankeistein and yes, it has brilliant lines, excellent especial effects, the best acting from Karloff and lots of wicked humor.
However, I would have to sit down and watch Frankenstein again in order to compare it as the sequel has a reputation to excel the original. All I can say is that this movie is iconic and indispensable for those who love gothic movies.
