Review of Bride of Chucky (1998) by Brad G — 11 Oct 2008
Horror movies are in trouble when they become too self referential and the wannabe laughs overtake any sense of terror. The Child's Play series got retooled and Jennifer Tilly came along and made this watchable.
She's one hot woman and the idea behind Bride of Chucky isn't bad, it just doesn't offer anything new aside from Jennifer Tilly looking smoking hot and making the Chucky doll look better all jacked up.
It is also sad to know that the fourth entry would have been way better had Scream never been released.
