Review of Bride of Chucky (1998) by Robert A — 09 Apr 2011

I can't believe that I'm just now watching this all the way thru! I've actually seen the very end of it several times, which is funny as heck! Evil Chucky baby, L0L!! Anyways, I'm glad that I finally watched it b/c it's quite amusing! I've always loved Chucky, he's just awesome! I've seen all 3 "Child's Play", but I have yet to see all of "The Seed of Chucky".

I just love how the dolls look & move, PLUS, Brad Dourif just makes Chucky come to life-as always. I couldn't imagine anyone else doing his voice. Jennifer Tilly was a nice new touch too. She was perfect as his evil doll wife.

Overall, the acting is HORRID..but it was kinda cool seeing Katherine Heigl before she was famous. Although, she was horrid in this movie. Hm. Oh well, the dolls are what make it so great & (Of course) the humor.

Funny stuff. There are some parts that are a lil' gross as w/ all the Chucky movies. It's def. not a film for small children. Plus, it def. helps to be a fan of the originals to truly grasp all the jokes & plot line.

It's worth the watch tho, esp. if you're into cheesy horror flicks. :).
