Review of Bride of Chucky (1998) by Angela S — 14 Aug 2009

When I started watching "Bride of Chucky" I was expecting it to be a great horror movie like the rest of the "Child's Play" series. I was disappointed after I saw it because I thought it was more of a comedy movie than it was a horror movie. It wasn't scary at all, in fact it was more silly than it was scary. I like comedy movies, but not when it comes to great series of horror flicks like "Child's Play.".

In my opinion, they ruined the classic "Child's Play" horror movies when they made this movie. "Bride of Chucky" is an alright movie, it's just not what I was expecting it to be after seeing all the other movies of the series. If you want to see a "Child's Play" movie that's not anything like the others in the series, you might like this movie. NOTE: That was my Amazon review from the year 2000. I love all the Child's Play movies, but didn't like this one much at all.
