Superb movie proving that a good story, good acting and good directing do not require special effects. Sometimes European movies (in this case from the Netherlands) just outclass american high budget movies.
The story of three Dutch women who, in the early fifties, are seeking their happiness in New Zealand. Far away from their country of birth, their lives still interact and through the years the realization of lost opportunities brings tears and smiles.
