Review of Brick Mansions (2014) by Maximus F — 25 Apr 2014
Slightly less-than-decent B-movie. Some impressive parkour and the occasional parkour-involved fight sequence. Most fight sequences are your typical clever editing/quick camera work where it's obvious punches do not land.
A handful of extremely laugh-out-loud cheesey one-liners, including an unforgettable one from the legendary and yet at times cinematically unnecessary RZA. Worth seeing as Walker's final bow on the big screen.
Shame it wasn't a better film. But moving nonetheless.
