Review of Brick Mansions (2014) by Jeremy P — 27 Apr 2014
Hey it's a miracle! RZA got away from his string of shitty roles playing martial arts masters and once again shows he can actually act. He and Paul Walker do what they do best here in a fun and very fast-paced action thriller.
Well, and so does David Belle, one of the actual inventors of parkour, who runs around and through everything. Actually, if super quick editing bothers you more than most people, you should probably pass.
But I still liked it. It is indeed a remake of David Belle's District B13, though I surprisingly have not seen that yet so I can't say how similar it is (though I hear very close).
